I can't find pricing information. Why is it not published?

  • We work with many kinds of IoT and Mobility scenarios with a wide range of business models. We do no believe in cookie cutter models that rarely fit to anyone's unique use case. Once we get your information, one of our team members will reach out to you and come up with a mutually agreeable plan for you.

    • Why don't I just use the newly open sourced Parse Server?

  • You could, but realize that using it for functionality is just part of the equation. You'd also need to operate your server 24/7, make sure it is performant and scalable, maintain it etc - all of which require server and ops resources and skill-sets. With Kii, you can rely on Kii's long track record of backend system functionality, performance, reliability and outstanding operations.

    • Seems like Kii is a PaaS layer platform. Which IaaS does it run on?

  • One of the strenghts of Kii's architecture is the ability to run in multiple contexts. For the public and dedicated cloud options, we use AWS (Worldwide) and Alibaba (in China). For private deployment, we can deploy on your data center.

    • What kind of steps are involved in transitioning to Kii from Parse?

  • Since you're dealing with a different API and different types of functionality, expect coding. Do not believe in any service that makes "click here to convert" type of claims. As a serious developer or product manager, you know that cannot be true. We can offer you a script to help with data migration - but you know that data is just one part of the equation.
