Radar Level Sensors for Above-Ground Tanks
Above-ground tanks can now be monitored with radar level sensors, and sensor battery level is shown as a percentage in the tank list.
Above-ground tanks come in many shapes and sizes and hold many different products, and no single sensing method suits them all. Radar measures the product level without touching it, which suits tanks where contact sensors are impractical.
What Is New
- Radar level sensors — above-ground tanks can be monitored with best-in-class radar level sensors, including their measurement-quality readings
- Battery level at a glance — sensor battery level is shown as a percentage in the tank list, so replacements can be planned before a sensor stops reporting
- Tuned for each installation — sensor measurement profiles are set by the Kii team for each tank
Why It Matters
Operators can choose the sensing method that suits each tank and product while keeping every tank in the same dashboard, with battery status visible across the fleet.
