Share Tank Inventory Data With PDI
Underground systems and tanks can be mapped to PDI identifiers so that tank inventory is exported to PDI.
Fuel distributors that run their business on PDI need tank inventory in the same system they use for dispatch and billing. Re-entering readings by hand introduces delays and errors.
What Is New
- Site and tank mapping — underground systems and tanks are mapped to the corresponding PDI site and tank identifiers
- Scheduled inventory exports — tank inventory is exported to PDI on a schedule for each organization
- Latest-reading option — an organization can choose to send only the most recent reading for each tank
Why It Matters
Inventory in PDI stays current without manual entry, so dispatch and replenishment decisions use the same numbers the monitoring platform reports. Exports are configured by the Kii team for each organization.
