Accurate Volumes for Non-Standard Tanks
Custom tank shapes can be defined so that tanks with non-standard geometry report accurate volumes.
Volume calculations assume a standard tank geometry. Tanks with unusual shapes need their own geometry so that a level reading converts to the correct volume.
What Is New
- Custom tank shapes — non-standard tank shapes can be defined with their name, capacity, and height
- Available at onboarding — defined shapes can be assigned when a tank is added or edited, alongside the standard shapes
Why It Matters
Tanks that do not fit a standard shape still report accurate volumes, so inventory and delivery figures remain trustworthy across the fleet. Custom shapes are configured by the Kii team.
