Upload your files to the cloud for safe storage. Add or edit the fields of existing stored objects and push changes to your app without having to resubmit it. Any deleted files go to your cloud trashcan first so you can restore them.
Generate links, with or without expiration dates, for easy file sharing. Users can also sync files across multiple devices through the cloud using your app. For example, let a user save an email attachment, such as a photo or document, to their tablet and sync it to their phone.
With Kii Data Browser, view all objects created and stored in any bucket within your app at any scope, and build queries to examine the data in different ways.
For easy collaboration, you can permit team members to access various areas of your app, from developers working on updates to marketers who want to set up and monitor analytics. Everyone can easily browse, even if they don’t know the data architecture.
Freely define objects by adding any key-value pair. From JSON objects to other data types, if your app can create it, Kii can store it. No extra customization required.
Objects on Kii are stored in virtual buckets. For example, if you have a mobile game, you can set up buckets for scores, game preferences and user files. Or get more granular by creating buckets for high scores across all users, for groups and for individuals.
Each bucket has a scope that determines default access, which you can customize.
APPLICATION SCOPEBelongs to your application. By default, all signed-in users have read-and-write access to everything in the bucket, but only the app admin can make access control changes. Anonymous users who aren’t signed can search, but data is read-only.
GROUP SCOPEGives access to a group owner and all group members. Not a member? Access denied.
USER SCOPEProvides secure, individual access.
